-Andy Davy’s (R) msg:  I am getting a new PCA but haven’t met her yet. Hopefully she’ll be good fit for me, and she will be working with me on Monday if everything goes well, I’ll start attending church on next Sunday
 
PRAYER REQUESTS:  Our hard times can be holy times, close-to-God times!
 
ROCHESTER:
-Cindy Lyver will have an eye surgery on July 23.  It keeps draining and she has to wear a pair of sunglasses. Her eye is sore and red.
-Kimberly, a visitor.   Her son is an ASL student.  She is fighting thyroid cancer and possible other areas
-Andy Davy’s msg:  The agency is struggling to find a new caregiver/pca for me.  I’m still a strong believer in Lord
 
ST. PAUL:
-John and Sara Grossman are expecting a baby this coming weekend.  Pray for a happy and healthy baby!
-Stephanie Harper’s msg:  My friend dog is missing since Saturday July 6. Friend is grieving and want find dog.  Pray for comfort and dog to be find
-Chris and Stephanie Pangelinan, their daughter, Sakura, will go to Guam this Wednesday, July 17 and will visit Turkey and Philippines until August 30
-Robyn LD needs more hours to work this week and my daughter
 
PVDA:
-Steven Rosa:  Both of his hands are in numb, and his right eye needs His healing touch
-Glen Kronick’s wife Pam is sick with a cough
-Pray for Trump
-Leslie Struss’ health
-Andrew’s protection for going camping this Wednesday for a few days
-Elizabeth Nelson (Visitor)’s family who lost their son are Catholics and they are praying to Virgin Mary (They need to be saved)

-PRAYER REQUESTS for the ASL CBT Translation Team 
PRAISES! 
- Many of you in the community have been asking us to translate the Lord’s Prayer.  Our translation of it just got approved and has been released!  Check it out here: The Lord’s Prayer - https://www.deafharbor.org/tv/cbt-passages/entry/9417/

This is just the Lord’s Prayer by itself, with no Introduction or More Information.  Usually, we don’t release a translation without an Introduction and More Information, but because so many of you have been asking for the Prayer, we wanted to get it out to you as soon as possible. The full version (along with more verses from Matthew 6) will be coming later this year.  Keep your eyes open for it! 

- Praise God for helping DOOR to assign two more translation consultants to work with our team, to help keep our team on schedule with our heavy workload this year! 

PRAY FOR OUR TEAM: 
- Pray for our team’s work as we do second-draft revisions on several passages based on the feedback from our consultant on the first drafts.  

- Pray for our translation consultants, as their workload is HEAVY this year and it will be difficult for them to keep up with our team’s pace.  Pray for them as they analyze and feedback our work.  

- The DOOR and Deaf Harbor administrators have begun working on the proposal for our project’s 2025 funding. Pray for wisdom for them as they plan and draft the proposal.

PRAY FOR OTHER DEAF TRANSLATION TEAMS:    
- There has been a lot of political unrest in Kenya in recent weeks.  The DOOR Center in Kenya provides support and training for Deaf translation teams not only from Africa but also several other countries. Pray for safety and that the political upheaval does not disrupt the Center in their work.

- One of our colleagues in Brazil, who leads the SLTT project, has a son who was recently badly ill with dengue fever.  He is improving.  Pray for a full recovery.    

- Pray for God to raise up more people who are interested in becoming sign language translation consultants, and for God to provide funding for them.
