ROCHESTER:
-Eileen Bruns hurt her right hand – The pain comes and goes with any movement. So hard to get comfortable with very large and heavy cast.
-Andy Davy’s msg: The agency is struggling to find a new caregiver for me. The other one did not work out. Pls pray for me that my doctor will make the right decision on Tuesday morning at 7:45 am to discuss if I should have a surgery or not.

ST. PAUL:
-Pray for the Grossmans to adjust having a big baby, Grace at home this week
-Robyn LD’’s dad, age 84 years old, HOH from birth, passed away on July 21st, 2024, when he was walking down the wooded path to the lake from the house. He stopped to rest halfway by trying to sit on a rock bench under the tree. Somehow, he fell and hit his head on the rock bench when he tried to sit down. My mom had to call the neighbors to check on my dad, only to find that he had no pulse, and that he had a huge gash in his forehead from hitting the rock bench. The neighbors carried his dead body back up to the house.
My mom had to call the coroner to record my father's death.

My dad was a Physical Education teacher and Industrial Arts Teacher for many years teaching blueprint drafting, welding, woodshop, electronics, bike maintenance, plastics, plumbing, etc. to middle school 7-9th grade students. During the summers, either our family traveled all over the USA and Canada by truck camper, primitive camping, etc. or he was doing business work roofing houses, building saunas, kitchens, etc.

I had visited both my parents during the 4th of July week so now my youngest sister from Atlanta, GA bought a one-way ticket to fly in tonight and then she has a 5-hour drive. She must help my mom with the lawyer and everything. My middle sister from Hawaii will be flying in later next week.

Need prayers for the following:
Both my sisters and I were busy contacting all the family and relatives to notify them of my father's passing yesterday.
There is a lot of stuff that my sisters and I will need to help my mom sell, plus the automobiles, watercraft sports stuff, motorcycles, carpentry tools and equipment, tractor, house furniture, whirlpool, etc.
I know my mom would not be able to live alone in that huge house on the lake so she will have some tough decisions to make, sell the house and figure where she will live next.
My dad is now at the funeral home.
My mom let me know that the neighbors were able to come help her. Please pray that my mom doesn't make decisions that she will regret later because of her emotional state. She is grieving too hard and is trying to get everything done all at once. I told her that doing activities was a good way to cope with grieving, but to be careful not to make decisions she later regrets because her emotions are not stable right now. One of my dad's friends is going to help sell all the motorcycles (4) of them since some are worth money. There is just a lot to process, and my mom is trying to do it all at once.
Thank you for your prayers...
